Andrew T. Hoyne - General Counsel

Andrew T. Hoyne is a vice chair of the multidisciplinary Life Sciences group at Polsinelli Shughart PC law
firm. Mr. Hoyne has over twenty years of experience as a corporate attorney, practicing business and corporate law
focused upon the representation of biotechnology, life sciences and other technology-based companies. He is
listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Biotechnology Law and for Information Technology Law. He is
co-author of the "Company Formation" chapter of Biotechnology and the Law published in 2006 by the American Bar
Association. He is a former: Vice-Chair of the Biotechnology Committee of the American Bar Association
Science and Technology Section, member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Biotechnology Association,
Chair of The St. Louis Capital Alliance, member of the Executive Committee of St. Louis Technology Gateway,
and Chair of the Business Law Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He was recognized
in "Who's Who in St. Louis" for 2007 by the St. Louis Business Journal and has twice received a Gate Award
from the St. Louis Technology Gateway. He received J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Washington University School
of Law in St. Louis and a B.A. from Knox College.

Anita Meiklejohn, Ph.D. - Patent Counsel

Dr. Meiklejohn is a principal in the Boston office of Fish & Richardson, P.C., a national firm of 300
lawyers in eight cities specializing in intellectual property law. Founded in 1878, the firm is a national
leader in patent law, filing 4,000 patent applications annually and employing 54 Ph.D. scientists. Prior to
practicing law, Dr. Meiklejohn was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University in the Department of
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received a J.D. from Boston College Law School (cum laude), a Ph.D.
in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, and B.A. in Chemistry from Cornell University
(with honors).
